so for one season? true but we need to think about the future. Our defense has a very bright future. In 2 or 3 years our defensive pairs could look something like

Ferraro-Karlsson
Kniazev-Merkley
Simek-Roy (or a free agent)

a young, offensive-minded defensive squad that could stay together and be productive for many years

(assuming we trade Burns or Seattle takes him)
