If that's all you expect back for Shattenkirk, what you want if you were to deal him to the Wings?

Nyquist, Hicketts and either Frk or Jurco

I would make that deal if Shattenkirk agrees to an extension. But I'm a little curious why you would expect more from the Wings than from BOS? Nyquist is as good if not better than Spooner, Hicketts and FRK or Jurco is more or equal to Griffith, but in the BOS deal, you are also giving a draft pick back, but nothing in the Wings offer?

It's 2 parts really: Nyquist is locked in salary leaving little wiggle room and is coming off a down yr. Plus I heard that this offer (or a very similar one) was what was being offered Also, the Bruins aren't really high on giving up Spooner (can't really blame them) whereas Detroit has too many forwards presently and have been shopping both Nyquist and Tatar for defensive help. Finally, and most importantly, the Blues and Wings have a history (not a good one being a Blues fan) so no helping them out lol
