Détails additionnels:
there is a lot of rumours about Fowler to MTL, and maybe the ducks are going to start the "rebuild". I think the value is ok for a top 4 polyvalent D

Source? It was already mentioned awhile ago, When supposedly Bergevin had interest in acquiring Fowlers right that Fowler had no interest in signing long term with Montreal. This reportedly came from Fowlers own agent. It's basically 3 teams out west and the only team in the east was hometown Detroit on his trade list. Why would Fowler have any interest in Montreal when he just bought a new home in Metro Detroit and he and his wife plan on raising their future kids there.

Even if he is down for MTL, this package is not even close. A bottom 6 foward, a 3rd pairing Dman and a 3rd round Pick doesnt land you a established top4

Yeah that's pretty much garbage for Fowler, Heck if we land Lafreniere i might be the only one but i'd offer Mantha easily for Cam Fowler plus if we can bring Krug home have two Detroit boys on our left side. Fowler has 6 x 6.5m left on his deal and that's probably what Mantha will wind up getting as well o his next deal.

With Fowler, Détroit would patch a huuuge hole and you know what you get. Mantha has a higher ceiling but injury prone and a little inconsistent. I think it would be a great move, especially if you guys land Laf. For the age difference tho, I would ask a little something coming back with Fowler. And Krug wont deserve wathever contract he will get. 7-8M for a pp specialist with an average defensive IQ is not worth it. He wont have the same numbers without the magic Boston line.

Agreed probably Fowler+2nd for Mantha seeing that Mantha is almost 3 years younger then Fowler. And i totally agree with you on Krug he's very sheltered there in Boston and on a very deep stacked team he wont put up nearly the numbers with Detroit then he has in Boston. 6 x 6.5m is the most i'd give him and he would stay in Boston for that offer.
