I really don't know at this point. I saw that Jost trade a while back and I thought it was pretty good so I thought I'd see what I could do with the team while also including that trade. I was also considering just doing Johnsson for Sorensen a 3rd and a 4th, but I wanted to spice things up and go for Kapanen. Finally with the Winnipeg trade, I figured that the Jets would want to re-sign DeMelo so instead of taking Copp like I did in previous trades, I took Pionk because the Jets would likely want to move a RD in the case that they re-sign Demelo.

Fair point. From a Toronto standpoint, I wouldn't make that deal, but from the standpoint of a Shark fan (which I am), I'd love to rob the Leafs blind lmao.

That's the thing though, I think Toronto is better with Kane than Nylander, and being a Buffalo fan wouldn't want them to do it.
