San Jose trade: This is a trade that I have seen on other threads. Shark fans have reported that they are interested in Johnsson. They would be giving a last second and an early first. So it is similar to a 3rd and 4th. Johnsson has just came from Surgery so I think the leafs need to deal him. We should trade him if we want to upgrade on other parts of the team

Florida trade: This trade is to help Florida. They probably can't afford Weegar with their salary cut so they should trade him. I decided to give them Dermott because he will be much cheaper on shorter term for them. The taxes are different in Florida so Dermott may be around 1.5mil. We also send a late second so the value helps a bit. We also send back Malgin. Maybe he can be a depth forward for them. Weegar will be Reilly's perfect partner. He is very underrated and can play top 4 minutes.

Calgary trade: This trade is to help both teams out. It helps the leafs out with the cap and upgrades Calgary. I am pretty sure Kapanen is better than Mangiapane but it is fairly close. So I just added a second on their side and a third on our side. Its simply they upgrade from Mangiapane to Kapanen and we upgrade from a 3rd to a second. If you think Mangiapane is better than Kapanen I disagree. Kapanen brings so much more to the game than Mangiapane. Calgary has the cap space to upgrade from Mangiapane to Kapanen

Dallas trade: This is another trade to help both teams out. Dallas gets a 2 way 3rd line centre that could even play in the top 6 wing sometimes. For the leafs he played a little bit on the wing and was really good. For the leafs we get a more defensive minded 3rd line centre that won't cost as much. Faksa may be a tad more valuable then Kapanen so I made it so they upgrade from a 5th to a 4th. In this draft that could be crucial.

Vegas trade: I saw Vegas fans wanting a goalie prospect so I decided to give them Scott for a 3rd. I don't know if that is to much but I would think its worth it. He could be a future fringe starter for them. The pick may be a little late so don't know who has to add in this trade

Minnesota trade: This is a trade that is suppose to help the leafs replace Kapanen. Greenway is more of a defensive minded forward. He can play in the top 9 for the leafs and will be cheaper. I decided to give Engvall because ever since he signed that contract he has struggled. he was on pace for 35+ points at one point in the season but then had a long drought. He probably needs a new team and could be valuable for the leafs. I think Greenway is pretty solid so I decided to add a second and 4th to the trade to make it a bit even.
