1. Jack Hughes (Devils du New Jersey) (Détails: Rough rookie season playing on a poor team. Still has a lot of potential.).
2. Kaapo Kakko (Rangers de New York) (Détails: Similar season to Hughes, however did play on a better team.).
3. Kirby Dach (Blackhawks de Chicago) (Détails: In my opinion, he looked the best out of the top 3 but not substantially enough to move him up.).
4. Alex Turcotte (Avalanche du Colorado from Sénateurs d'Ottawa) (Détails: Had a decent season in the NCAA statistically at least. The team itself didn't do well surprisingly considering Caufield and Miller were playing on it. Turcotte still projects to be an elite two way forward.).
5. Trevor Zegras (Kings de Los Angeles) (Détails: Not only did Zegras have a very good season in the NCAA, he also led team USA in scoring in the world juniors. Could have moved him up to 4th based off of this season alone.).
6. Bowen Byram (Red Wings de Detroit) (Détails: Slight statistical regression playing in the WHL. Doesn't matter as much as a defenceman, however, I feel as if others progressed more. Could still easily climb up the rankings.).
7. Moritz Seider (Sabres de Buffalo) (Détails: Seider had an EXCELLENT season. He surpassed a lot of people's expectations and played very well in both the AHL and international tournaments showing he is not only good defensively, but also has offensive capabilities. Even though I have Seider one rank down, he is still very much worth the pick considering positional needs.).
8. Dylan Cozens (Oilers d'Edmonton) (Détails: Good progression in the WHL. Not sure if he will play center but I think he is the most likely to play in the NHL next season.).
9. Alex Newhook (Ducks d'Anaheim) (Détails: Statistically, he had an insane season the NCAA. Could be one of the biggest steals in the draft.).
10. Cole Caufield (Canucks de Vancouver) (Détails: The offensive capabilities are there for him, as he had a pretty good season in the NCAA as well, scoring just as much as Newhook. We'll see if he can handle him self physically in the future.).
11. Victor Söderström (Coyotes de l'Arizona from Flyers de Philadelphie) (Détails: Amazing season for Soderstrom. Played very well in the mens league in Sweden and was a MONSTER for Sweden for the world juniors. This season he definitely proved a lot of the doubters who thought he was picked too early wrong.).
12. Vasily Podkolzin (Wild du Minnesota) (Détails: The KHL is a hard league to play in, and it could be even harder when your coach is only playing you for 5 minutes a game. Thankfully as the season progressed, Podkolzins ice time went up, as well as his play. When it finally looked like Podkolzin would go on a tear, the season gets abrupted. Podkolzin can easily climb up this list as soon as he gets more consistent ice time.).
13. Spencer Knight (Panthers de la Floride) (Détails: Just going to leave Knight where he got drafted. Not sure how to rank a goalie.).
14. Peyton Krebs (Flyers de Philadelphie from Coyotes de l'Arizona) (Détails: Coming back from a serious injury, Krebs had a pretty decent season in the WHL.).
15. Connor McMichael (Canadiens de Montréal) (Détails: Absolutely destroyed the OHL this season.).
16. Arthur Kaliyev (Avalanche du Colorado) (Détails: Kaliyev also playing well in the OHL. Statistically looks really good. Work ethic leaves more to be desired however.).
17. Matthew Boldy (Golden Knights de Vegas) (Détails: Compared to others, Boldy had a below average NCAA season even while playing on a pretty good team.).
18. Philip Broberg (Stars de Dallas) (Détails: Was drafted a bit higher than he should of been. Still had a decent season in the SHL, also one of the youngest in the draft.).
19. Philip Tomasino (Sénateurs d'Ottawa from Blue Jackets de Columbus) (Détails: Dominated OHL even after being traded.).
20. Cam York (Jets de Winnipeg) (Détails: Decent season in NCAA, dropped cause others around him just had better seasons as well as the common theme that defencemen tend to get drafted a bit higher than they should.).
21. Tobias Björnfot (Penguins de Pittsburgh) (Détails: Offensively had a good season in the AHL. Also was able to play a few games in the NHL. Not sure if he should be this high but 19 points in 44 AHL games is pretty decent especially considering he just came in from Sweden.).
22. Shane Pinto (Kings de Los Angeles from Maple Leafs de Toronto) (Détails: Big center that had a great world juniors and a good NCAA season. I could see him playing soon due to him being physically ready.).

24. Thomas Harley (Predators de Nashville) (Détails: Good progression from last season playing in the OHL.).

27. Nils Höglander (Lightning de Tampa Bay) (Détails: Amazing world junior performance as well as a very good SHL season. Although small, his strength makes up for it as he is strong and weighs quite a bit for his height.).
28. Samuel Poulin (Hurricanes de la Caroline) (Détails: Good progression playing in the QMJHL.).
