David Rundblad is on a one year two-way deal. Rundblad would be the first call up in case of injuries. He has NHL talent and fits the Pens mold of a defencemen. Being the first call up and the chance to once again be apart of a contending team is the selling point for his contract.

If a long term injury occurred Oscar Sundqvist would be called up instead of Kevin Porter being in the line-up.

Dumoulin-Letang would log the majority of minutes with Maatta-Schultz and Pouliot-Daley getting similar minutes. However, Maatta and Daley would get more minutes than Schultz and Pouliot.

Sheary can replace Hagelin's speed on the HBK line while allowing Malkin to have a legit top 6 winger.
