Here's how I went about these possibilities:

1.) The trade MUST be with a Western Conference team. GMJR has typically only made bigger trades with the West (Brassard/McCann-Bjugstad deals aside).
2.) The return must include some combination of the following:
a.) A Prospect (1-2 years away) + Bottom Six player (with no real top 6 potential) + 1st round pick
b.) NHL Ready prospect + 1st round pick
c.) NHL Middle Six forward + 2nd round pick + PIT Cap Relief
d.) Top 6 forward + 2nd round pick
3.) Team must have a true need for a franchise goalie.
