In my opinion:

McDavid and MacKinnon anchoring their own lines would be more beneficial to the team than having them on the same line

Crosby, Marchand, and Bergeron will be ages 34, 33, and 36 in 2022. I can see them all making the team but as 3rd or 4th liners

Personally I don't think they need to anchor their own lines when you have JT, Stamkos, Marner, Barzal and Point. I agree with Hamilton over Ekblad but Doughty is a lock for the team given his experience.
