Ottawa has no need for a LHD who is UFA in July. How about Kaedan Korczak and Jack Dugan for Dylan Demelo and Chris Tierney.

Rangers do not need Subban due to their goalie depth already-- They have Lundqvist and Shesterkin for next year, Huska is playing very well in the AHL, Wall is setting records in NCAA, and they also have Lindbom after that (whose number while not amazing, got rave reviews from Benoit Allaire who specifically had a hand in them picking him)

I'm also not a huge fan of Schuldt-- another area of depth for the rangers is defense-- They already have Rykov, Lindgren, Hajek, Miller, Reunanen for the left side. While not every prospect will pan out, Miller and Rykov look like they have the potential to be NHL defenseman (Miller more than, rykov about equal to Schuldt). They also have Nils lundkvist and Keane in the waiting for the RH side so if they do trade ADA, they have RH depth and LH depth to pull from-- Schuldt will most likely be a 2nd or 3rd pairing guy which the rangers have in spades.

I think either upping the pick to a 1st or giving up a decent forward prospect (per reports almost NHL ready or NHL currently) will get the job done. The posting isn't bad based on sheer value, it just doesn't address the rangers needs. Good try though

For a 2nd and a 3rd Demelo should agree to an extension. I don't see why he wouldn't, he's never made over 1m before and with Vegas he gets guaranteed expansion protection.

Galchenyuk will probably be the best acquisition at the TDL. The guy is capable of 30 goals so he'll make some GM look like a genius.
