Before Leafs fans jump all over me, Georgiev is better than Freddie who keeps getting worse, and he's way younger. He has the makeup to be a number one.
Brady needs a change of scene and Leafs needs dmen who can eat up minutes. When he's on his game he's awesome. A break from Lindy Ruff will definitely help.
That is two huge pieces Toronto needs to fill. You have other forwards to take Nylander's minutes. Rangers need another young forward who is playing NOW.

As a Ranger fan I approve of this trade. However I'm not sure Skjei is the defenseman they need. And if they are just looking for a backup goalie they should just be spending a mid round draft pick for someone like DeSmith.

No, this is awful. You don't trade Nylander for a good backup and a #4 D. Especially when they can be gotten with lesser guys.
