I really like the idea of being able to move Sekera in a deal for Barrie, just so we don't have to deal with that NMC and I do believe that a healthy Davidson will be very close to the quality of Sekera. problem isn't sekera today. it the contract in 2 years.

You grossly overpaid for Wisknewski and I'd be more comfortable keeping the depth of Fayne and Letestu. There is ton's of cap space and no reason to move Fayne for nothing. Depth on Defense is crucial. and I like the idea of still having Nurse and Reinhart ripen in the AHL...

if Brayden Schenn were willing to accept 4m per/yr he'd have already signed.

I'd make that trade for Schenn all day, but jb55 is right about that contract for Schenn.
