One year bridge deal for Patrick. Has yet to play a full season in his first two seasons. Already missing most of this season. Shouldn’t expect anything other then a cheap bridge deal. Myers same bought hasn’t had a lot of NHL experience. Has show potential but a one year deal could be perfect. This all correlates well with Niskanens 6m hit coming off the books the following year. Chuck goes out makes a big move for his beloved talent in Minnesota. Still sticking with my theory Chuck traded up to get Brink knowing he’s a Minnesota phenom. Flyers were in heavy on Spurgeon the passed offseason. Settled for a rental in Braun. Could they explore it again this offseason? Flyers would have two give up 2 of arguably their top 3 prospects. But it helps unload JVR for a nice piece in return. Flyers have a young core in place and some other good prospects. Would be willing to pull the trigger to have a top 4 of Prov-Spurgeon and Sanheim-Meyers for the future and now.
