I think he needs to get back to 3 rw. The Kap / JT/ Marner thing is not working at all. That line got owned tonight

That's true. They did.

Kap does seem to be the leading candidate for the scapegoat handle early on. But give it time. Too many nights like tonight and Marner will compete hard for Jake's old title.

That whole line looks off and to me, Marner is the reason why, not Kapanen. Marner seems to be moving a little slower, almost as if his pockets are weighing him down.

And I know it's a small sample size but going back to last year, the team's record is very poor without Gardiner.

I don't know if Marner is the reason why but that line has largely been pots. And to lay the blame at Kaps feet seems off when JT and Mitch combine for a salary of almost 22M. Seems like silly logic that it's the 3.5M guy's fault who is the problem. Or that a 2M Hyman is the saviour thats missing. Given what Mitch and JT get paid for the leafs should be able to put you or me on the LW and still get results.

But us leaf fans are fickle. It's all Kappy's fault. Just like it was all Jake's fault..
