I hate the idea of trading Kreider. It is way more disappointing than Zucc as a fan. I want him to just sign a 6/7 year deal, get the C on his chest and keep being a beast. But the Rangers have clearly moved on from that and it seems so obvious he is a goner. Which sucks. But unless this team is like firmly in a playoff spot at the deadline, they have to sell again.

I like Kreider too and if he were to stay, would definitely get the C. However, he will probably get a Hayes like contract somewhere and @ 28 yrs old, NYR should offer a max of 5 yrs/6.5 AAV. Otherwise go get at least a 1st round pick and prospect @ trade deadline.
