Description

Theres been a lot of argument over "The Trade". However, from Bergevins perspective, I think he was thinking this:

1. Weber is still amazing, he has offensive potential
2. If we want to contend in the next 2-3 years, this will be a better move
3. Long term, yes, Nashville won
4. Fans will be upset, but only because they loved PK, they will grow to love Weber as well

As the salary cap continues to grow, by the time Weber is no longer an elite D-man his $7,857,143 is gonna look a whole lot better than the 10 million dollar contract Subban is gonna get in 4 years. I'm not saying Montreal won this deal, but the Montreal fans need to realise that they are not screwed for the future.

Weber is a ******* pylon in his ownzone, yes he still has his shot but thats it. He'll score more goals for a couple years than subban, but he will be a tire fire defensivly from next season till his ******* contract ends IN A FUCKING DECADE. Weber will be more of a pylon than phaneuf was ever, AND HE WILL COST ONE MILLION MORE UNTILL HES FUCKING 40. Markov-Weber on our first pairing gg, rebuild starts now. And these trades make absolutly no ******* sense either.
