Tatar more likely then Petry ,and long term it is trickier then what happens on this excercise. Weird formula and not every player's salary is 100% cap space. Plus Montreal was 2pts from a playoff team.,I doubt they are selling ,I think they are buyers.

Mtl won't sell any youngster like Poehling or Caufield or Suzuki for older players. In fact, they're more likely to build around them and make room for them. Also, they didn't get any better this summer and a lot of eastern team did. So yea, they'll sell before loosing Tatar and Petry to UFA
