Ryan Strome is actually a pretty talented player. In CHI, he’ll thrive but the Hawks only need to get him for a 7th.

... it'll take more than a 7th to get him.. he posted 22 points in his final 28 games for the rangers, JG isn't that stupid. He plucked him out of Edmonton for a reason.

I was kinda kidding putting this together, but the more I look at it, the more I really like all the lines. The 3rd and 4th are interchangeable...if Ryan could take a step like his brother, the Hawks get a ton of depth and 4 lines that are hard to match up against.

honestly i really hope the rangers keep him.. he played very well in an expanded role last year (he had 22 points in his final 27 games in a 2nd line role).. i would love to see what he could do in between Kreider and Kakko (assuming namesntikov and smith are gone to get cap complient). I'd be happy with 45+ points in that slot
