FYI - 10% of Lucic's contract has been retained (ie: $600,000). Initially, I don't like it - I think Neal has more upside and potential to turnaround. However, both players meet the needs of their new teams, so the hits/toughness/grit may work in the Flames' corner. Also, if he can plant himself in front of the neet on the 2nd PP unit, he might be effective.

Agree. It was posted before trade happened. Just figured it was going to be similar money. Neal should be able to be on with McDavid so he will do better. If they get Lucic on the first or second and changed calgs first line a bit separate more talent he could do better. Sticking Lucic on the third one won’t be any better.
