Dang there’s still a few players that were on the leafs roster from last year still here. I think you forgot to trade them to with everyone else

Guys like Nylander and Kapanen who have expressed that Toronto is their home and there is no where else they would rather play... they stay on the leafs. I could seriously see both being life time leafs. Sometimes players get moved though like Kadri who tried to block trades and wanted to be here for life. But this season our roster is set. Mayfield would be great. But I’m not losing a player like nylander for him.

I really don't like the idea of moving Hyman, that guy plays with his heart on his sleeve and is arguably the hardest worker on the team. Can be used for almost any scenario. Although numbers may be comparable to others, guys like him don't come as often as we may think

It’s beyond stupid to trade Nylander just to keep Marner. If I could only keep one of Nylander and Marner on my team, it’s Willy all day long. Not only is he the better player, he’s also cheaper and way more committed to playing for the Leafs. Mitch is arrogant, greedy, selfish and lazy.

If you cannot see that Willy is better, I can’t help you.
