come December (when roussel is back), if nothing has changed, we have 5 NHL-caliber forwards left off the roster. Trades need to be made, but who is realistically traded?

Gaudette, MacEwan, Schaller all likely start in the AHL at this point, but I think both Gaudette and MacEwan deserve spots on the NHL roster.

There better be some prospects because this team is really weak...Boeser, Petterson and Horvat are the only talented forwards. The defense doesn't strike fear in anyone in whatever zone they're playing. As for Boeser, why would he sign for 5 yrs at $7M when Hayes in Philadelphia signed for more?

4 years takes Boeser to free agency, where he really starts to demand money. Meier just signed 4x6M, and i think VAN could buy one year of UFA yeras by giving Boeser 1M more per year.

I agree completely. However, I am sure logistically, VAN management doesn't own up to their mistakes, and they choose to ride them both in bottom 6 minutes. But yes, I agree
