The Smith buyout is only if a trade partner can’t be found including draft and prospect sweeteners.

If the trade partners or values aren’t 100% let me know what’s more realistic but I’d say the framework is there and makes a lot of sense.

NY could easily add more picks that’s fine but Vegas can’t afford to take any players back right now so that’s probably about all that can be done if Gusev won’t sign or they can’t afford him.

They can trade Reaves and Holden to be able to sign Gusev. Vegas has said over and over that they are in a win now mode, trading 2 assets with nothing in return does nothing for that
