I know and understand what you are saying, but as a Hab fan, I know the Canes are matching that.
Either way, MTL goes out a winner in my opinion. if the Canes Match the offer(Which they will) the habs Still have a good team, tons of cap room to grow. and if canes don't match, well the habs have a very good team with a ton of young players to build around.

i think the question is . do the owner have enough money to pay 11m in 6 days and complete the 21m bonus next summer . he just lost a lot of money with the football ligue .
