Uh, no, they’re reported to be ready in November at the latest. Besides, if they’re on LTIR, even if they dont count against the cap, the Leafs still need to account for the cap used when they return (this is more important for Hyman who has the 2.25 mil cap hit). They can’t spend to the cap with them on LTIR and then expect to bring them back, as they’d be over.

We also don’t know which players will come out of camp yet, but Bracco making ~150k more than any of the minimum salary players is going to be a factor, as the Leafs will likely only have ~500K to play with in space, unless Marner signs a bridge deal.
