EDIT - Bodgan Yakimov signing takes place towards the end of the year, as a depth player for either Bakersfield or Edmonton in playoffs

EDIT - Broberg signing is to get him used to North American living, he can play 9 games at beginning of the season to test how he is on NHL ice, before sending him to Hamilton

Slepyshev if he comes to the NHL can slot into a middle 6 role, where Gusev would probably slot into anyways, however Slepyshev would command a cheaper price

Vancouver says hell no to that trade . They already have two good young goalies and don't need to add Wells. Why would Edmonton give away a decent goalie prospect when they have had some of the worst goaltending in the league over the past few seasons? Brandon Sutter, if healthy, is a decent and serviceable player in the bottom 6 who can kill penalties and add to secondary scoring. Vancouver would only take on Lucic if they got rid of Loui Eriksson in return and got a good draft pick or a forward prospect. Not even close to the value necessary to make that type of deal happen.
