That Avs trade is a steal, Id do it in a heartbeat if im the Avs.. only one problem... THEY DONT NEED CENTERS lol

As per Alex, my thought process- Bozak played college hockey on Colorado so be will be a good fit for the area. The Avs to have a lot of Centres under contract but with small cap hits the others can be moved easy. The trade opens cap for the Leafs and gives them a serviceable goalie for the Leafs or Marlies and Bernier can be moved. As Per Hutchison Gardiner will be traded it is just when.. with expansion draft 3 D can be protected, Rielly, Zaitzev(years pro in Euro count) Then if the Leafs trade for a skilled vet Gardiner will be unprotected therefore should be traded.

Doesn't matter if he played in Colorado in college, Avs don't need a C nor would he be in the Avs top 3 C (Duchene, MacKinnon, Soderberg>>>>> Bozak). To say that they trade to gain Bozak to then turn around and move an existing C doesn't make much sense as the C they have (and the cap space the team already has to begin with) are affordable as is
