Djoos isn't getting even half of 2.5M. Vrana 2 year deal would be below 4M AAV. I don't mind Acciari signing, but with accurate deals we could just keep Burky. Acciari would be great on 4th line, bit of a stretch for 3rd line.

I think Vrana is overpaid here, especially for only two years. I also think Djoos is going to get in the 2 x $1mil range. Priskie has also said he's not signing with the Caps. I do think they sign a cheap free agent, but I would prefer to go after Pirri and not Acciari.

Even if you reduce the Vrana and Djoos AAV's by $1M each, you're still only looking at just over $2M in cap space if WSH picks up a UFA around Acciari's AAV. I just don't see a scenario in which the Caps are bringing Burky back. Teams with lots of room like COL (who were interested around the deadline) and ARI would be willing to eat something closer to his qualifying RFA offer for what upside he still has, when GMBM is probably thinking more in the $2M-$2.5M range for him.
