figure i'd give it a roll and see what folks think......I'm not sure zaitsev would be a substantial upgrade for the canucks d lines.....

Vancouver laughs and hangs up the phone only way Zaitsev is leaving is if they package something like a first with him and nothing coming back the other way

believe it or not, the canucks actually want himand the leafs don't need to really sweeten the deal. Multiple teams want him and so other teams knowing that ups his value and requires them to want less in return in a package with him

This is pretty good! Fan of the Oilers trade (most of them to be honest) and think over payed by at least a million for Johnsson but other than that great job! Also don't forget they will realistically sign 2 at least 2 free agents cheap for depth

Love this Minus the Vancouver trade.. You didn't re-sign hutton cus you had no space.. I would say johnsson signs for 1.5M less, puljujarvi signs a much cheaper bridge of say 1.5-1.8M, the canucks trade doesnt happen so we still have Zaitsev for the 2nd line (or a replaceable D) which pushes Benning into Holl's spot and holl out.. I think it still works within the Cap.. overall love it but don't need the Canucks trade I don't think. Zaits wants out so just assume another 4.5M RHD to take his place would be my assumption.
