the nucks trade ain't happening. I mean nothing has been improved really in any spot in the lineup other than goaltending.... The Oilers NEED competent depth on the wing and empty spots on the dcore to stop the log jamming of the many prospects that can easily challenge for a roster spot for cheap next year. Its a bigger priority to find wing depth then to find a place for lucic

Jim Benning hangs up the phone. As much as we want to get rid of Loui Eriksson and Brandon Sutter I don't think we'd want any of those D men back. Our D's ****ty, but it's definetely on the up and up. Luke Schenn seemed extremely promising with the Canucks. Schenn was literally everything that we were promised in Gudbranson. Quinn Hughes looks great. Olli Juolevi is skating again, he had like 10 points in like 19 games or something weird in the A last year. Hopefully he gets called up after Tanev gets injured (lol).

Tanner Pearson, good lord he looked great with Bo Horvat. I think he had like 19 goals last year, 12 of them with us after the TDL. Assuming he keeps gelling with Horvat there's no way Benning parts ways with Pearson.

This trade is heavily in favor for Edmonton. Something tells me Eriksson's going to rebound in Edmonton or any other team that requires a "garbage" goal type of guy IE Patric Hornqvist.
