why not? boedker has a hefty cap hit, so Ottawa does not take on as much salary. Would a fourth rounder need to be added?

Perry is way past his prime and Ottawa is going for the youth movement. Boedker only has 1 year left at 4 while Perry is at 8.6 for the next 2 years.

If a trade wasnt available they would of bought him out on day 1 of the buyout window which was the 15th and now it's the 17th. We gotta make a trade by the 30th, because we can't buy him out after that
