Too much at the advantage of CGY.
Need to give more, either 1st pick or better prospects.
But goos understanding of what these teams want and need.

Love that this roster, of the defending Stanley Cup champs no less, has $1.7M cap space (and possibly $4.3M if the ceiling goes to $74M). With Kunitz and perhaps Daley off the books the following season, that gives Rutherford & Co that much more to retain their young guys.

Actually they would need to add more Fleury is a #1 top 10 goalie. Even with salary retention the flames would have a larger cap hit on Raymond while burying him in the AHL, 2.2mil. So the Pens are essentially still doing the Flames a favor by taking him. but I would go for the better prospect instead. Klimchuck, Pollock or Poirier
Raymond would also have to play somewhere for this to be acceptable by the Pens. So on the off chance they would get Vesey Kuntiz would need to be moved somewhere and Fehr would center the 4th line with Raymond on one of the wings.
