    With so many goalies available, I can't see CGY coveting one particular goalie SO much that they give up the #6 pick. I mean, anything is possible, but with this market I'm not so sure.

    I think the essence of the trade is good, but CGY needs to win now and Pouliot and Sprong are not gonna help them with that.
    Also, I doubt the Pens will trade the only actual propect they have both in attack and defense.

    @Peterman;
    I'm sorry to ask, but who are these many goalies available?
    To my understanding, only Tampa and Pittsburgh can actually boast they have #1 goalie caliber available to trade (fleury/murray and Bishop (NMC)/Vasilevsky).

    Also, CGY and EDM are competing this season to make the playoffs and they both really, really need a #1 goalie.

    Fleury being by far the most consistent and reliable and with 20 shutouts in his last 3 seasons he leads the league...
    I think is value is far superior to what you suggest.
