Thomas is the best right shot forward. Heck, I would put Boxaj ahead of Perron. He has a great shot, but he still takes lazy penalties, many of which are in the offensive zone. Doesn't use his head out there.

Many players take stupid penalties at times, but hes extremely versatile offensively and defensively

If this trade happens, ship Perron and Edmunson to Montreal. Perron goes home and Eddy plays third line minutes, replaces the shrimp Mete and helps keep the net clear for Price. I'd ask for Brook, Lehkonen, and a pick.

Perron is notorious for being one of the worst offenders for laziness and boneheaded play. Part of the reason why Gallant benched him in the finals last season. When he's on he's very good though. Unfortunately, it's truly 50/50. He's either good or really bad
