luckily for us we don't have to sign Marner with Matthews and Tavares already making 11 !

There's only $2mil of cap space here because they took on 3 salary dumps that cost $12mil. In real life they have $19mil in cap space. Signing RFA's Buchnevich, DeAngelo, Lemieux, and Pionk might cost $10mil and adding Kakko and Kravstov is $2mil more leaving $7mil but with 25 men on the roster. So trade Vesey and Namestikov to get to $13mil over. Leaving room to sign Panarin (though he's probablyhoing to Florida) or trade for someone like Trouba. Or take salary dumps.

And by the time anyone of significance is up for a new contract, Staal, Shattenkirk, and lundqvist are all gone, along with a 2m in relief on girardi's buyout, 6.25m of marleaus, plus the 3+ of kulikovs buried contract.. i think they'll be good
