I am a Penguins fan, and I think the penguins take this deal no questions asked. Tippett will be a good player, and the first is even extra. If you are able to swing Panarin too.. watch out!

Penguins probably need to retain at some level if the 1st rounder is involved.

I wouldn't do that pitts trade, I know how good malkin is when hes engaged but that seems to be the thing right. hes 32 misses 10 to 20 games a season and is kinda a little baby. Plus its Barkovs team and malkin wants to be "the guy". hubbs had a great year and is 25 and under a great contract. sure get malkin but trade trocheck not hubbs

Trocheck has a very valuable contract and would help if FLA signs Panarin. Malkin doesn't want to be the guy. Has said so multiple times and why he has never requested a trade or threatened to go back to Russia. He likes being a #2 he is just stubborn in the way he plays. Would be a great fit in FLA behind Barkov. Including Kessel in with the trade would be interesting. Not sure Pens would trade those two as a combo but the return in this trade is good.
