You can’t trade Gagner in two separate trades! Lol
I don’t mind the Barrie trade but I wouldn’t do it without an extension in place, not losing RNH for 1 season of Barrie. What are you going to do with 3 goalies??

Canes say no. Gauthier had very good season in Charlotte and is displaying growth as a prospect. I don’t think it makes sense to trade a big physical goal scoring prospect who is younger and has time left on ELC for JP who is injured, has expired ELC and has some upside question marks.

I think the Blues take that trade to get out of Allen's contract and maybe make a run at a guy like Bob. Or if they think Binnington can hold on to the job until Husso is NHL ready. Not sure what Russell's contract is, but that might necessitate them moving a D-man too.
