Quick is too injury prone. He can’t be a 50 plus game starter anymore and his age doesn’t make this fact any better. Not what Buffalo needs. Possibly Edmonton, Carolina, Philly will bite.
Why would NJD trade such a young player, who still has promise and fits their rebuild as Hall may be gone, for an aging declining expensive player? No.
Panthers don’t need Kobalchuk. They need to address D and goaltending. If they are to get a high end forward it would be Panarin, or a top six via trade.
