Why are we giving Elliott 3 years at $3.5 million?

I would hope Point would sign for less than that. He's had a VERY good season on a stacked team and one good season last year, not sure I would be comfortable allocating $10 million per for 5 years. He is definitely going to be a prime RFA target for a lot of teams with cap space that know Tampa can't match.

The Elliot deal is just a shot in the Dark. I think the Flyers are going to have to over pay to lure Point away from Tampa Bay.
