Love the forward group. The Defense still sucks and Hanks Save PCT will be under .900. Rather spend the $$ fixing the D.

I 100% agree however I dont think Karlsson goes to FA. I think maybe NYR take a run at Trouba at some point in the future. Unfortunately I think we're in it for the long haul with the D. I dont think this roster would be a contender yet, bubble team at best. Prob gonna have to wait for the D prospects to develop and go from there. No quick fix.

if NYR draft #7 i would want Byram or Boldy

I think Byram is gone in the 3-5 range. If he's there yes please. Boldy...meh I like him but not in the top 11

i'm more intrigued if NYR doesn't draft top 5 to go after Turcotte and then move up in the draft to draft Caufield, both offensive forwards going to Wisconsin where Miller is already playing. could be some sweet chemistry between them three

I'd love that, unfortunately Caulfield doesn't seem like the type of guy NYR usually go for. After the Brooks article about NYR going HARD for Keller I think theyll target Zegras. Soderstrom is rising very fast and is RHD. Could be someone NYR look at 8-10. Wouldnt be crazy about that but wouldn't hate it.

i would try and make a move for Trouba. I really think he will be available either t the draft or in the free agency period. What do give Winnipeg for him?...I dont know

Yea not sure we have the bullets for Trouba but thats another guy I'd love. I wouldnt mind picking up a guy like Myers in free agency for a couple years and draft a defenceman next year like Barron or Dryesdale
