Russell would gather more interest than a 6th round pick i think. And no way caps take that, maybe if the pick is a 2nd rounder and the player is a prospect

OK buddy you are signing players for way to much and relying on a team that relies to much on there #1 player. Here are the things I would change.

      1) The Mike Hoffman and Darnell Nurse is brutal. You have a guy who is the same skill level and mixes better with the current team and you are saying you would rather have a guy that is said by some GM's and Players to be a "Cancer" in the locker room. I would not even touch Mike Hoffman for that reason.
      2) Chiasson would be traded for a Pick not a Player Ex. 2020 Third round pick from San Jose. (They have expressed Interest)
      3) Is Burakovsky really worth a third round AND Rieder?
      4) Your asking a lot from DeMelo and I would have him in the minors for a solid half of a season to a full season to ensure the best player your getting
      5) You only have three lines of Defense. I would have some back up D for Healthy Scratch in case someone gets hurt. Cause at the moment if a D got hurt you would be Screwed and have to pay twice as much for a D man that is average at best.
      6) you are giving up Russel for basically NOTHING! This is almost as worst as the Mike Hoffman trade. This is a Garbage trade and Pittsburgh's GM would laugh at you during the after trade press conference.
      7) Kassian is worth a Fourth or Fifth nothing more nothing less.

      Good things:

Benning trade is not half bad. No purpose but seems to be about dumping salary.

Well I hope you look at my comments with an open mind, My overall review of this team would be that you are digging a large grave even deeper. If you were GM and made these events happen, you would be fired ASAP. Even Pete is better than this. Team Rating (1/10)

strongly agree, We would need a Fourth or Fifth for him to part with this asset.
