The Canucks have a lot of their pieces already, but they need a few signings to assure them at least a bottom seed in the playoffs. Gardiner will be looking to get paid, and the Canucks will have the caproom with Edler coming off the books. He might ask for more years so 3x6M might not be the final deal. Gardiner is a much needed offensive presence on the Canucks and pairs well with the more defensive Tanev. Boeser obviously needs to get paid, and so does Goldobin, Leivo and Motte. Keeping all three is doable. Motte might get a bit more than Leivo just for his position flexibility. Schaller doesn't fit on the team so trading him for a bottom pairing defenseman isn't the worst thing. Demko contract is really up in the air right now, but I put him down for 3x3 just cuz he'll probably be playing another season of relief for Markstrom until his contract is up, and afterwards DiPietro might come up to be the backup for Demko.
