DSP Waived - Jaskin Out - TDL Moves

Créé par: netminder71
Équipe: 2018-19 Capitals de Washington
Date de création initiale: 20 févr. 2019
Publié: 20 févr. 2019
Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
Given the TDL timing, and only having Siegenthaler up for a third of the season it all fits under the cap. Plus the Caps retain Bura if he's getting better late in the season and have a decision to make on him or trade him at draft to afford a 4-yr extension for Vrana.

    Détails additionnels:
Rumor has it the Caps felt Jaskin had more "value" and instead of waivers he could yield a late round pick. As opposed to DSP that no one wanted to pay for.

Love it. I don't think Clifford is moving though. Everything I read talks about how hes a letter less leader and his value exceeds anything they'd realistically get.

I don't think Cliffy moves either. Actually was just testing waters on a re-vamped 4th line but I love Brown in that role, and bring in an energy guy like Nate Walker (considering the salary cap constraints).

don't know if caps could even fit that under cap that way. Plus Hagelin is worth significantly more than Jaskin on his own. So caps would have to throw in like a 3rd round pick or something.

A 30 year old with 4 points and shooting sub 5% for 3 years is going to command a 3rd? No way.

not straight up, the higher pick than otherwise would be for retention(so if it would be a fourth otherwise the one round up is the difference for retention, or if it was a fifth before it would turn into a fourth). But I remembered that hagelin is already having salary retained by Pittsburgh and I don't know if multiple teams can retain on the same player at the same time.
