Description

Don't want to give up the first but still want to add some depth for what is hopefully a long playoff run. May have to make the NYR trade a conditional 3rd or something to get them to retain but CF has the Flames with ~6M of cap space at the deadline with Stone on IR.

Maroon adds some size and grit but someone who has proven he can score with skilled players, just have to hope he waives the NTC

McQuaid sorta similar reason, just to have some depth for the playoffs and he's a tough SOB, if Hamonic goes down we still have a DFD not named Prout to step in. He is a righty which isn't ideal but we'll make it work

McQuaid alone would get a 3rd (like traffic cone nick holden did last year). If you want rangers to retain the price will go up from there.

Plus, it's darn near impossible to get the puck away from him along the boards in the offensive zone, which is a must in playoff hockey. He can also screen goalies with the best of 'em and score ugly goals. Again, both are necessary in the playoffs. I'd do it if I was Blues g.m., as we need to move away from the heavy game and a pick is worth Maroon.
