Marleau is likely not going anywhere. So you have to sign bridge deals for Marner, Kappy, and AJ. Marner wanted to sign after Nylander and Matthews, so now there is no way they can afford to give him term. Sign him to a 3 year deal and pay him when Marleau is gone and the cap goes up.
Brown can't make $2 million on the fourth line, so he has to go. Zaitsev isn't as bad as his contract is but he makes to much, so time to move on.
Hainsey is likely gone and that would be fine. But if Babs wants him back to play on the 3rd pairing and help a young D like he did with Reilly and now Dermott, maybe he comes back on a one year deal at a pay cut.
