You make no sense scheifele isn’t a UFA after this year and Winnipeg isn’t a dumpster fire of a team like Ottawa has been the past few years hence why Duchene will more than likely not resign there

Didn't realize Sheifele could potentially walk as a UFA this summer? Last time I checked he was on one of the best contracts in the entire league. It's a different situation. An extended Duchene would cost ALOT more.

Roster duds? They’re both younger guys who play on a stacked team so they don’t get the ice time / exposure for you to even know if they’re any good or not they’d be better then 3/4s of the Sens roster ... the 2019 draft is one of the most stacked drafts there has been in years but wpg pick with likely be late so I guess you could always give Ottawa the option for the 2020 1st rounder instead
