    What the heck? That deal is very bad for ANA. They wouldn't give you Andersen or Vatanen individually for that.

    I think even with a hometown discount, Stamkos gets $10.5M matching Kane and Toews. He wont leave a winning team to go to the worst team in hockey in a rebuilding time and accept less cash then he is worth. He goes there knowing that its rebuilding and still gets his money. IF Anaheim accepts that trade, which I don't think they would, your also not signing those two guys to $2.5M. I haven't seen a person sign Vatanen for less than $5M on here. You might convince Anderson to take $2.5M over 2 years and prove himself for a bigger contract... but good luck with that.
