Description

Brandon Piri is an underrated goal scorer who can basically play any position, all special teams, and costs league minimum. It allows WPG to save burning a year on Vesalainens contract while giving him another year to develop while also allowing for a potential Trade Deadline acquisition for a CUP run. Also with the way this PK is set up, allows Scheif-Wheeler to get a rest and be fresh for even strength and PP time.

Don't fall for it. Let this Ranger fan who had the same notion about Pirri a few years ago when he played for us tell you, he's gonna light it up for about 20 games then he's gonna forget how to hockey and become a popcorn eating box boy for the rest of the season.
