yeah I hate to agree but I think zadina isn't starting with the big club as of right now. I think he goes to grand rapids for atleast a little while. I cant see svechnikov buried on a 4th line he needs better offensive linemates to see if he really can play in this league or not. its definitely his make or break year and I hope he gets 35 or 40 games playing higher in the line up to see if he has what it takes. Nows the best time to find out. against my better judgement sulak is getting me excited for a d prospect and I hope he gets a shot this year. I think we'll see him and maybe hicketts in the line up to start the season.

This is what I think Blashill is heading towards like I said, I would have Svechnikov up somewhere else just not sure the coach can bring himself on putting both Helm and Abdelkader on the 4th line. I am actually half expecting him to play Abdelkader on a "2nd line" and slotting Helm up to a 3rd as well somehow.

I agree just wouldn’t mind an abs/chevy swap but that’ll be pushing it but too much grit on one line may make his head explode. My guess is zadina comes up at deadline when goose is traded

You know the final decision isn't up to Blashill right? The final decision is strictly up to Holland, You've Green on IR and no other D man just 6 Hronek or Cholowski probably gets a shot or Sulak. The odds of Hicketts making the team is slim to none. One of Hronek/Cholo and Sulak will be on the opening night roster.

Okay sorry you healthy scratched Sulak just now saw that. Making 7 D men. Though i doubt Hicketts makes it in over Sulak.

I like abby with vanek and aa though. aa and vanek have some weird connection and I think of all the players in the line up abby fits on that wing. hes a plugger and gritty and he'll shoot the puck and not try to get to fancy like Nyquist might on that wing. the aa line and larkin line has to do the majority of the scoring with neilsons line getting the top defensive assignments. its going to be a long season but idk maybe this team scores more than we think and wins a few more close games than they did last season. of course the d is a mess
