Description
Rangers make some big moves to try and make one last push for the cup. They get an infusion of young, speedy wingers (nichushkin and yakupov) who are in need of a change in scenery. They also add a scoring threat in boedker while retaining yandle. Please rate and let me know what you think! P.S. Girardi would be bought out but button is not working so I traded him for nothing and retained what would have been the cap hit had he been bought out.

          Boedker has horrible +/- numbers. Not worth 5 million. Also, don't like the helm signing and the Hayes trade. Rangers could keep Hayes and have him or Miller as their 3rd line center . And Edmonton would never agree to that trade

          Yandle had terrible +/- when he was on the Coyotes too... Personally I think that Kevin Hayes is over-rated and as long as AV is the coach, there will be some tensions between them. As for the edmonton trade, certainly think it is plausible. With the retained salary, he is a 3.4 million dollar defenseman. The oilers have been in search of some stability on the blue line and Staal can come in and play top 4 minutes and be on the PK. Also, It is clear that Yakupov wants out of EDM. Throwing in lindberg as a replacement for Yakupov seals the deal in my mind...
