yeah for sure. It's not taking into account any return on trading some of the likes of Edler, Tanev etc and possibly adding that element. I wanted to see where they'd be at before adding anything like that. They aren't as far off as I thought if they get relatively lucky in the top 5. It reminds me of the young Avalanche team just as they moved from Quebec. With Hughes, Juolevi and another top defense pick they are looking much stronger as well.

You could also say that Stecher, Virtanen, Baertschi, Horvat, Pouliot and Virtanen would be joining Sutter, Eriksson, Gudbranson, Beagle and Roussel as the veterans on the team.

That top line would be $$$$. Gadjovich could have a shot at the bottom 6 by then. Hopefully a return from a Tanev trade would be in this lineup as well. Also, this shows how dumb the Roussel and Beagle signings are lol
